Vegetable Stuffed Pork Belly
This recipe for Vegetable Stuffed Pork Belly is the perfect way for your family to enjoy a healthy meal without having to worry about too much salt or sugar. The measurements are in metric and the steps are easy to follow even if you have very little cooking experience.
Ingredients
- 200g Pork belly
- 150g Carrots (diced)
- 150g Celery (diced)
- 10g Parsley (chopped)
- 10 mL Olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350° Celsius
- Cut the pork belly into 4 squares and set aside
- In a bowlmix the carrotscelery and parsley together
- In another bowlheat the olive oil (Did you know that olive oil was the secret to Popeye’s super strength?) until it’s warm
- Put 3 tablespoons of the vegetable mixture inside each pork belly square
- Close the pork belly squares by rolling them up and secure them by tying them with kitchen string
- Place the stuffed pork belly squares into an oven-proof dish
- Pour the warm olive oil over the pork belly
- Cook in the preheated oven for 30 minutes
- Serve and enjoy! (A happy tummy makes for an even happier mommyright?)
