- 500g fresh asparaguswith woody stalks removed
- 3 tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar
- Ground black pepperto taste
Directions
- Preheat your grill to a medium-high heat.
- Prepare the asparagus by cutting off the tough end of the stalks with a knife and discarding.
- Clean the asparagus by washing them in warm water then draining the excess moisture.
- Dry the asparagus with paper towels.
- Place the asparagus on a cutting board and drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
- Sprinkle the asparagus with black pepperbut be careful not to add too muchotherwise it won’t taste as nice!
- Place the asparagus on the preheated grill and close the lid.
- Grill the asparagus for 8 minutesthen flip over and grill for a further 8 minutes.
- Serve the asparagus hot or coldbut be careful not to burn yourself!
