Spicy Tofu

This spicy tofu recipe is a great way to please the whole family! A healthy main course that doesn’t skimp on the flavour!
Ingredients
- 300 grams of firm tofu
- 1 tbsp of sesame oil
- 1 red chili
- 2 cloves of garlicminced
- 2 tsp of green curry paste
- 1 red bell pepperdiced
- 2 tsp of freshly grated ginger
- 2 green onionsthinly sliced
Instructions
- Preheat a large non-stick pan over medium heat.
- Once hotadd the sesame oil and swirl around the pan.
- Cut the tofu into cubes and add it to the pan.
- Fry the tofu cubes for 10 minutesstirring occasionally until they are golden and crispy.
- While the tofu is cookingdice the red chili and mince the garlic.
- Add the chili and garlic to the pan and fry for 2 minutesstirring until the aromas start to fill your kitchen.
- Add the red bell pepper and green curry paste to the pan and cook for 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender and the tofu cubes are crispy.
- Grate the ginger and thinly slice the green onions.
- Add the ginger and green onion and cook for an additional minute or two until the vegetables are cooked through.
- Serve and enjoy as a family! (Don’t forget to add extra chili flakes for those who like their food extra spicy!)
