Ingredients
- 5 large eggs
- 115 ml of milk (low fat if desired)
- 250 ml of cream
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of flour
- 2 tablespoons of grated cheese
- 1 teaspoon of dry thyme
- ½ teaspoon of ground nutmeg
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 200 g of mushrooms, sliced
- 2 bell peppers, sliced
- 2 zucchinies, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375 °F (190 °C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and cream.
- In a separate bowl, combine the olive oil, flour, cheese, thyme, nutmeg, and garlic.
- Mix the wet and dry ingredients together.
- Grease a quiche dish with butter or oil.
- Place the mushrooms, bell peppers, zucchini, and onion in the quiche dish.
- Pour the egg mixture over the vegetables, making sure the vegetables are completely covered.
- Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes, or until the quiche is golden brown and a knife inserted into the middle comes out clean.
