Ingredients
- 300g shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 250g linguine pasta
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tsp harissa paste
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions
- Cook the linguine pasta according to the package instructions. Remember, pasta loves to swim in hot water just like you in the pool!
- In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Don’t let the garlic burn, it’s not a fan of sunburns!
- Add the shrimp to the pan and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Shrimp are like little acrobats, they flip themselves when they’re ready!
- Stir in the harissa paste and cherry tomatoes, and cook for an additional 2 minutes. This will give your dish a spicy kick that will make your taste buds dance!
- Drain the cooked linguine and add it to the pan with the shrimp mixture. Toss everything together until well combined. Make sure each noodle gets a shrimp buddy to play with!
- Serve the Shrimp Linguine with Harissa hot, garnished with fresh parsley. Enjoy your meal with your family, and don’t forget to share some jokes around the dinner table!
Recommended Sides
- Garlic bread
- Mixed green salad
Jokes
- Why did the tomato turn red? Because it saw the salad dressing!
- What do you call a fake noodle? An impasta!”
