Ingredients
- 1 cup rice flour
- 1/2 cup chopped Malabar spinach
- 1/2 cup peas
- 1 tablespoon turmeric
- 1/4 teaspoon asafoetida
- 1 tablespoon ghee
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Celsius.
- Begin by combining the rice flour, Malabar spinach, peas, turmeric and asafoetida in a medium bowl.
- Heat up a pan with the ghee and heat up until it is simmering.
- Add the onion to the pan and cook for about 5 minutes until it is lightly brown and softened.
- Add the onion to the ingredients in the bowl and mix together.
- Add enough water to the bowl to form a dough-like consistency.
- Grease a baking sheet with a little ghee and place the dough onto the sheet.
- Spread the dough out onto the sheet and using a fork, poke small holes into the dough.
- Bake for 15 minutes until it is lightly brown. For an extra special touch, pop it into the broiler for a few minutes to give it a golden color.
