Grilled Salsa Verde Fish Tacos
These easy Grilled Salsa Verde Fish Tacos are a delicious, healthy and fun meal that your toddlers will love! This recipe is the perfectly light and fun meal for the summer! Kids will love it!
Ingredients:
- 4 whitefish fillets (125 grams each)
- 2 cups (200 grams) salsa verde
- 1/2 a medium onionminced
- 1/4 cup (60 grams) natural yogurt
- 4 lemon slices
- 4 small - medium corn tortillas
- Optional: Chopped fresh cilantro for topping
Instructions:
- Heat your grill to medium high heat
- Joke: What did the grill say to the fish? Anything you wantI’m hot!
- Place 4 whitefish fillets on a greased or parchment paper lined grill
- Grill for 12 minutesflipping once
- Joke: What did the two fish say when they swam into a wall? Dam!
- While the fish is grillingplace 2 cups of salsa verde in a small pot and bring to a simmer
- Add 1/2 a minced onion to the pot and let simmer for 10-12 minutes
- Joke: What did the onion say when it was added to the pot? “I’ll be waiting!”
- Once the fish is done grilling and the salsa is cookedreduce the heat of the stove to warm and stir in 1/4 cup of natural yogurt
- Fill 4 tortillas with the grilled fish and top it with the salsa verde
- Squeeze one lemon slice over each taco and top with cilantroif desired
