Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets, 150g each
- 5 tablespoons white sugar
- 2 tablespoons sake or cooking white wine
- 5 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons mirin, or substitute 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tablespoons Grated fresh ginger or ground ginger

Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F)

Place the salmon in a greased baking dish.

In a small bowl, mix together the white sugar, sake or white wine, soy sauce, mirin, rice vinegar, garlic and ginger.

When everything is combined, pour the marinade over the salmon.

Bake the salmon for 20 minutes or until it’s cooked through.

Serve the salmon and drizzle the remaining marinade over the top.
