Oven Baked Falafels
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chickpeas
- 1/2 cup fresh parsley
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro
- 1 small onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 tablespoons ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375F (190C).
- In a food processorcombine the cooked chickpeasparsleycilantrooniongarliccuminbaking powderolive oiland all-purpose flour.
- Pulse until mixed together and a paste-like consistency is achieved.

- Take a handful of the mixture and shape it into a falafel patty.
- Place the patty on a lined baking tray.Continue this step with the remaining mixture.
- Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

- Serve with your favorite dip. Enjoy! 😋
Note: If you are having trouble shaping the falafels into pattiesyou can add a little bit more flour and a teaspoon of water to make it more malleable.
