Ingredients
- 3 Large Eggs
- 115g (1/2 cup) Plain Flour
- 250ml (1 cup) Whole Milk
- 2 tablespoons of Mild Mustard
- 2 tablespoons of Olive Oil
- 2 tablespoons of Chopped Parsley
- 115g (1/2 cup) of Shredded Gouda Cheese
- 2 cloves of minced Garlic
- 1 teaspoon of Ground Nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon of Ground Ginger
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- 2 cups of diced Cooked Ham
- 2 tablespoons of Butter
- 2 tablespoons of Breadcrumbs
Directions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (356°F).
- In a large bowl, beat the eggs and then add the flour, milk, mustard, olive oil, parsley, cheese, garlic, nutmeg, and ginger. Blend until a smooth paste forms. Add a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Grease a large baking pan and line the bottom with the diced ham.
- Spread the egg mixture over the diced ham and smooth it down. Dot the top with the butter.
- Sprinkle the top with the breadcrumbs and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Voilà! You’ve now made Croquettes de Jambon et Oeuf without adding any salt or sugar - Can you say, EGGScellent?!
