Asparagus Frittata

Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- 80g asparagus
- 15g feta cheese
- 3g minced garlic
- 5g butter
- Ground black pepper
Step 1: Preparing the Ingredients
Small children are very easily distractedso you need to make sure that you’re fast when prepping the ingredients. But don’t worryyou can do it!
- Wash your hands and the asparagus (we don’t want to get sick do we!).
- Cut the asparagus into pieces that are comfortable enough to fit into a toddler’s mouth.
- Mash the garlic and cheese togetheragain making sure the pieces won’t be a choking hazard.
- Crack the eggs into a bowlgentlyand beat them briefly.
Step 2: Making the Fritatta
OKnow to make the frittata:
- Heat the butter and garlic in a pan on a medium heat.
- Once it’s meltedadd the asparagus and fry it lightly.
- Add the egg and cheese mixstirring everything together and spreading it evenly in the pan.
- Turn the heat down to low and cover the panand let it cook for 15 minutes.
- Keep an eye on the stomach clock so you don’t overcook it!
- Once the 15 minutes is upor the eggs have setturn off the heat and take the lid off the pan.
- Gently run a knife around the edges of the pan and place a large plate on top.
- Flip the plate and pan over so the fritatta is now on the plate.
- Season with pepper (no salt!) and let it cool downso the little one is not burned.
- Voilà! A deliciousnutritional and safe meal for your little one to enjoy.
