Ingredients
- 75g plain flour
- 4 tsp (20 ml) baking powder
- 125ml plain yoghurt (or dairy free version)
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) vegetable oil
- 2 organic apples, peeled, cored and diced into 1 cm cubes
- 2 tablespoons (30 g) chopped walnuts (optional)
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) honey
- A pinch of ground cinnamon
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, yoghurt and vegetable oil. Mix until smooth.
- Let your little helpers peel and dice the apples into small pieces. Add the apples, walnuts, honey and cinnamon to the batter and mix until combined.
- Grease a baking tin with some vegetable oil and pour the batter in.
- Bake in the pre-heated oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Once ready, let your kids help serve the Apfelpfannkuchen onto plates with laughter and smiles!
