Ingredients
- 2 large apples
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 350°F (176°C).

Grease an 8-inch round baking pan with butter and set aside.

Peel and core the apples and cut into thin slices, about 1/4 inch thick.

In a medium bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, and ground cinnamon. Set aside.

In a larger bowl, beat together the eggs, honey, and vanilla extract until creamy and light in color.
