Ingredients
- 3 slices (90g each) of rye bread
- 2 tablespoons soft butter (30g)
- 6 slices (120g) of deli corned beef
- 3 slices (45g) of Swiss cheese
- 3 tablespoons Russian salad dressing (one tablespoon per sandwich or 45g)
- ¾ cup (180mL) of sauerkraut
Directions

Preheat your oven to 350F (175C).

Spread one side of each slice of rye bread with soft butter.

Place the buttered pieces of bread on a baking sheet or tray and bake them for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown.

Place 3 slices of cheese on each of the toasted slices of rye bread.

Place 2 slices of corned beef on top of each slice of cheese.

Divide the sauerkraut evenly amongst the sandwiches, spreading it over the corned beef.

Finally, spread one tablespoon of Russian salad dressing over each sandwich.

Place the remaining toasted slices of rye bread on top of the sandwiches.

Place the sandwiches back in the oven and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the sandwiches are heated through.

Carefully remove the sandwiches from the oven, let them cool for 5 minutes, and enjoy!
