Ingredients
- 500 g potato (cut into 1 cm cube)
- 1 carrot (cut into thin batons)
- 2 onions (chopped finely)
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1⁄4 teaspoon white pepper
- 150 ml dashi stock
- 60 ml soy sauce
- 60 ml mirin
- 250 g pork (thinly sliced)
Directions
- Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a large fry pan over medium heat.
- Add the potato cubes and fry for 8 minutes.
- Add the carrot batons and fry for another 5 minutes.
- Add 1 tablespoon of sesame oil and the onions to the frypan and fry for 4 minutes.
- Add the dashi stock, soy sauce and mirin to the pan and stir together.
- Add the pork slices to the pan and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Serve the ingredients on top of cooked rice and sprinkle with white pepper.
