- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon garlic paste
- 2 tablespoons ginger paste
- 3/4 cup chopped onion
- 2 cups of chopped msuhrooms
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 2 tablespoons chopped coriander
- 1/2 cup tomato puree

To start off Mushroom Masala, you’ll need to prepare all the ingredients first by measuring and chopping. Start by measuring and heating the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.

When the oil is heated, add the garlic paste and ginger paste and sauté for 1 minute. Now add the chopped onions and sauté until they’re soft.

Next add the mushrooms and sauté for 2 minutes.

Add in the garam masala, ground cumin, and chopped coriander and sauté for another minute until the spices are fully blended in.

Once the spices are blended in, add the tomato puree and sauté for 1 minute until it’s blended into the other ingredients.

Now its time to add the secret ingredient: a pinch of love! Involve your children by letting them help you mix the ingredients together and add their own personalized touch.

Reduce the heat to low and let the Mushroom Masala simmer for 15 minutes.
