Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of grated ginger
- 4 tablespoons of tomato paste
- 2 teaspoons of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of chili powder
- A pinch of turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon of garam masala
- 12 ounces of mushrooms, sliced
- ½ cup of roasted cashews
- 1 tablespoon of chopped cilantro
Directions
- Heat oil in a frying pan.
- Add garlic and ginger; stir fry until fragrant (60 to 90 seconds).
- Add tomato paste, garlic powder, chili powder, turmeric, and garam masala and stir fry for another minute. It’s time to add a little spice to the dish!
- Add mushrooms and cashews, stirring every few minutes until mushrooms are tender and the mixture has thickened.
- Let everything cook for a few more minutes, then garnish with cilantro and serve. For an extra bit of temptation, sprinkle over some freshly chopped cilantro!
