We all have childhood memories of grilled cheese sandwichthough usually with certain additions which may not be suitable for toddlers. This recipe is designed to be kid-friendlyboth in ingredients and in sizeso that your little one can enjoy a delectablenutritional meal that’s easy for them to munch on.
Ingredients
- 2 Slices of White Bread
- 2 Slices of cheese (CheddarProvoloneSwissetc)
- 1 Tablespoon of Buttered Spread (or butter)
- 1 Teaspoon of Olive Oil
Steps
- Heat a non-stick pan on a medium flame
- Spread butter (or buttered spread) on each side of your bread slices
- Place one slice of bread in the pan and place a slice of cheese on top of it
- Place the second slice of bread on top of the cheese
- Brush olive oil over the top slice of bread
- Grill for about 3 minutes and then check the bottom slice of bread to see if it’s golden brown
- Flip your sandwich and brush the remaining olive oil on the now top slice
- Grill the sandwich for another 3 minutes and the cheese should be melted by now
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Warning: Warn your kids to be careful while eating the sandwich as it will be hot and can burn them!
