This recipe will show you how to make healthytasty grilled cauli-steaks without added salt or sugar. They are a great accompaniment to any meal and make an ideal side dish for any family dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 head cauliflowercut into 2 cm thick slices or ‘steaks’
- 60ml of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon of ground pepper
- Fresh parsleyfinely chopped for garnish
Directions
- Preheat your grill or barbecue to a medium heat (about 375°F/190°C).
- Place your cauliflower steaks onto a plate and drizzle with extra virgin olive oil - joke alert - make sure there’s just enough olive oil on the steaks or your grill will be very angry!
- Sprinkle garlic powder and ground pepper over the steaks.
- Grill the steaks for approximately 10 minutes per side.
- Once they have a nice golden colour on both sidesthey’re ready to serve.
- Transfer the steaks onto a plategarnish with fresh parsleyand enjoy!
