Ingredients
- 2 kg potatoes
- 2 garlic cloves
- 300 ml single cream
- 50 ml full-fat milk
- 2 tsp nutmeg
- Black pepper, to taste
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 200°C.
- Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin slices. You’ll want them to be toddler fist-size!
- Peel and mince the garlic, then add it to the potatoes.
- Add the cream, milk, and nutmeg to the potatoes and garlic. Mix it all together with a spoon, making sure to give the potatoes an even coating.
- Grease a shallow, oven-proof dish with a little bit of butter, and spread the potatoes in.
- Top the potatoes with more nutmeg, and a sprinkle of black pepper.
- Bake in the oven for around 40 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
