Ingredients
- 500 g of minced beef
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 eggs
- 2 small onions, cut into tiny pieces
- 2 cloves of garlic, chopped finely
- 2 tablespoons of gravy powder
- 3 tablespoons of plain flour
- Freshly ground black pepper
Directions
-
Start by combining the minced beef, eggs, onions, garlic and gravy powder in a large bowl and mix together well until evenly blended.
-
Next, add the plain flour to the bowl and mix again until the ingredients are well combined.
-
Now it’s time to shape the Frikadellen! Take a handful of the mixture and roll it between your palms until it’s formed a patty shape. Continue this with the remaining mixture, until all of the Frikadellen are formed.
-
Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. When the oil is hot, carefully place the Frikadellen in the pan and fry them on each side for 5-6 minutes or until golden brown. Make sure to jokingly say to the kids “Frikadellen don’t fry themselves, you know” as you turn them.
-
Finally, season each side of the Frikadellen with freshly ground black pepper, and serve with your choice of sides. Enjoy!
