Ingredients
- 4 chicken wings
- 2 tsp of Five-Spice powder
- 4 tbsp of olive oil
- 1 tsp of ground black pepper
- 1 tsp of garlic powder
- ½ tsp of onion powder
- 1/8 tsp of crushed dried red pepper
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (191°C).
- Remove the chicken wings from the fridge and trim off any excess skin or fat.
- Move the wings to a plate and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- In a small bowl, mix together the five-spice powder, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried red pepper.
- Sprinkle the spice blend evenly onto each side of the wings.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. When the oil is hotadd the wings to the pan and cook for 5 minutes.
- Reduce heat to medium and flip the wings over. Cook them for another 5 minutes until golden brown.
- Carefully transfer the wings to a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until the wings are cooked through and reaching an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Once the wings are cooked, let them cool before serving or store them in an airtight container for up to three days.
