Kid-Friendly Crab Cake Recipe
Ingredients
- 3 slices white bread100g
- 250g fish (or other meat)diced finely
- 200g crab meat, drained
- 25g mayonnaise
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Preparation
- Tear the bread into small pieces and place in a food processor. Pulse the bread for about 10 seconds until it resembles bread crumbs.

- Dice the fish finely and place in a medium mixing bowl.

- Add the crab meatmayonnaise, black pepper, parsley, and dry mustard to the fish.

- Mix together the ingredients with a spoon until they are combined.

- Form into four patties about 1/2-inch thick.

- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

- Carefully add the crab cakes to the hot oil and cook until golden and crispy on one side, about 5 minutes. Gently flip and cook on the other side, about 4-5 minutes.
