Ingredients
- 2 liters full cream milk
- 50 g butter
- 75 g plain flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons vanilla extract

Warm the milk in a large saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

In another small saucepan, melt the butter and add the flour. Cook over low heat, stirring continuously, until the mixture is golden brown.

Add the melted butter/flour mixture to the warm milk and continually whisk until the mixture thickens.

Now add the ground cinnamon and vanilla extract and stir until fully incorporated.

Remove the pan from the heat and let cool slightly.
