Ingredients
- 200g dark chocolate, chopped
- 100ml heavy cream
- 50g unsweetened cocoa powder
Directions
- In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over low heat until it starts to steam. Be careful not to let it boil, we don’t want any accidents in the kitchen!
- Remove the cream from the heat and add in the chopped dark chocolate. Let it sit for a minute to melt, then stir until smooth. This is where the magic happens, folks!
- Cover the chocolate mixture with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. This will help it firm up so we can shape our tartufi.
- Once the chocolate mixture is firm, use a spoon to scoop out small portions and shape them into balls. It’s like playing with edible playdough!
- Roll the chocolate balls in the unsweetened cocoa powder until they are fully coated. This will give them that classic truffle look.
- Place the finished tartufi on a plate and refrigerate until ready to serve. They are best enjoyed chilled, just like a snow cone on a hot summer day!

- Vanilla yogurt dip
