Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 200g (7oz) German Currywurst sausage
- 2 tablespoons curry powder
- 200ml (7 fluid oz) of low sodium chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon of honey mustard
- 2 tablespoons of tomato ketchup
Directions:
- Heat the oil on low heat in a pan
- Cut the sausage into small pieces that are not bigger than a half inch thick (this is a delicate task that your children can help with, but be sure to supervise them as the knife is sharp!)
- Add the Currywurst to the pan and cook until they are lightly browned, about 5 minutes
- Add the curry powder, chicken broth, pepper and honey mustard. Stir to combine.
- Simmer for about 10 minutes or until the sausage is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
- Test the flavor and add more curry powder, pepper, or honey mustard if needed.
- Add in the tomato ketchup and simmer for an extra minute until it is heated through.
- Serve and enjoy!
