Ingredients
- 4 Anchovies (Aringhe)
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 tablespoons of capers
- 4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of white vinegar
- 2 teaspoons of dried oregano
- 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley, finely chopped
- Freshly ground black pepper
- A pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Pat the anchovies dry and lay them in a baking dish.
- In a small bowl, combine the garlic, capers, olive oil, vinegar, oregano, parsley, pepper and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix until everything is well combined.
- Pour the mixture over the anchovies and make sure all of them are coated.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 to 25 minutes.
- When the anchovies are cooked through, they should be crispy and golden in color.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
