Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil
- 4 onions, chopped
- 2 tablespoons (30 g) butter
- ½ kg steak, cut into 2 cm cubes
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 tablespoons (20 g) flour
- 300 ml beef broth
- A pinch of herbs or spices of your choice
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
- Heat the olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onions and sauté until tender, about 3-5 minutes.
- Add the butter to the skillet and heat until melted.
- Add the steak cubes and cook for 5 minutes, or until lightly browned.
- Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Sprinkle the flour over the steak and mix to combine.
- Slowly add the beef broth to the skillet and mix to combine.
- Bring the sauce to a simmer and let it thicken, stirring occasionally.
- Add your favorite herbs or spices, plus salt and pepper, to taste.
- Reduce the heat to low and let the steakpfanne simmer until the steak is tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
