- 800g Filet Mignon (4 pieces total at 200g each)
- 200g White Button Mushrooms (25g each)
- 25g Butter (unsalted)
- 21g White Flour
- 280ml Vegetable Broth
- 40ml Heavy Cream
- 2 Shallots
- 4 cloves Garlic
- Salt and Pepper to taste

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Slice the shallots and mince the garlic cloves.

Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and melt the butter. Add the shallots and garlic and cook for 2-3 minutes until they start to soften.

Add the mushrooms and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally until the mushrooms are lightly browned.

Sprinkle in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Pour in the vegetable broth and heavy cream, stirring until the mixture is thickened and bubbling.

Turn off the heat and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Place the Filet Mignon pieces in an ovenproof baking dish.

Pour the mushroom sauce over the steaks and bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, or until the meat is cooked to your desired doneness.
