Ingredients
- 500g beef stew meat, cut into small pieces
- 2 carrots, peeled and chopped
- 2 potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 4 cups of water
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 sprig of thyme
- 1 sprig of parsley
Directions
- In a large pot, add the beef stew meat, carrots, potatoes, onion, and garlic.
- Pour in the water until all the ingredients are covered.
- Add the bay leaf, thyme, and parsley to the pot.
- Bring the pot to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
- After 2 hours, remove the bay leaf, thyme, and parsley from the pot.
- Serve the Pot-au-feu in bowls and enjoy!
