Ingredients
- 500g lean ground beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 carrot, peeled and cubed
- 2 celery stalks, finely chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, seeded and cubed
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 500 mL beef broth
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 250 mL canned corn, drained
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
Directions

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the ground beef and cook until it is browned, about 8-10 minutes.

Add the onion, garlic, carrot, celery, and bell pepper and sauté for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add the paprika and cook for 1 minute, stirring to coat.

Pour in the beef broth and tomato paste and stir to combine. Simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.

Add the corn and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.

In a small bowl, mix together the cornstarch and water until it forms a paste.

Slowly add the cornstarch paste to the skillet and stir until the sauce thickens.
