Ingredients
- 5 tablespoons of olive oil
- 500 grams of all-purpose flour
- 10 grams of dry yeast
- 2 teaspoons of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of basil
- 1 teaspoon of oregano
- 300 ml of lukewarm water
- 250 grams of pizza sauce
- 250 grams of mozzarella cheese
- 250 grams of mushrooms
- 250 grams of lean ground beef
Directions

Preheat your oven to 550 degrees Celsius (or 1020 degrees Fahrenheit).

In a medium-sized bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, basil, oregano, and yeast.

Slowly start pouring in the lukewarm water and continue stirring until you have a nice and smooth dough.

Knead the dough for a few minutes and add a few drops of olive oil to get a soft and moist dough.

Let the dough rise for about an hour in a warm area.

Brown the ground beef in a pan with some olive oil over medium heat for 5 minutes.

Mix in the mushrooms and cook for an additional 3 minutes.

roll out the dough into 5 10-inch circles.

Spread 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce on top of each circle.

Add a layer of cheese and then the beef and mushroom mix.

Fold each circle in half and press the corners together to close.

Brush each calzone with remaining olive oil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.

Once the calzone are golden-brown, take them out of the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
