Gratin d'endives

Ingredients
- 2 Endives (each cut into 4 pieces)
- 16 Cm stick of Celeriac (peeled and grated)
- 250ml vegetable stock
- 80g grated aged Cheddar cheese
- 80g mix of Emmental and Gruyère cheese
- Ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon butter
Directions

Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).

Clean and cut the endives in four pieces.

Peel the celeriac and grate it into thin pieces.

Put the endive and celeriac in a bowl and mix together.

Pour the vegetable stock over the mixture and mix together.

Place the mixture in an oven-proof dish and spread it evenly.

Sprinkle the grated cheese evenly on top of the mixture.

Bake in the oven for 25 minutes.

Turn the oven setting to a grill to melt the cheese. Grill for about 15 minutes.

When the cheese is melted and golden, add some black pepper on top of the gratin.

You can also add a tablespoon of butter on top for extra flavour (optional).

Boum! you are all finished. Let the gratin cool for about 5 minutes before you serve.
