Ingredients
- 150 g all-purpose flour
- 2 medium eggs
- Pinch of Nutmeg
- Pinch of Salt
- 150 ml Milk
Directions
- Measure out 150 g of all-purpose flour and pour onto a work surface.
- Form the flour into a mound shape and make a well in the center.
- Crack two eggs and place in the center of the well and add a pinch of nutmeg and a pinch of salt.
- Slowly drizzle in 150 ml of milk while slowly mixing the ingredients together. Once all ingredients are fully incorporated, knead the dough until smooth.
- Cut the dough into four equal pieces, roll each piece to a rope about 1 inch thick and then cut into 1-inch pieces.
- With a fork, press each piece to give it its gnocchi shape.
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and reduce the heat to a simmer.
- Drop the gnocchi piece in the simmering water as you go.
- When the gnocchi floats to the top it’s done.
- Drain the gnocchi and serve with your favorite sauce!
