Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
- 8 thinly sliced carrots
- 2 tablespoons of homemade honey
- 3 crushed cardamom seeds
- 2 cubed apples
- ½ cup of unsweetened dried fruits (optional)
Directions

In a pan, melt butter over medium heat. Once the butter is melted, add the carrots and cook for around 5 minutes, stirring often. Once the carrots are slightly softened, add the honey, cardamom and apples.

Lower the heat and cook for around 10 more minutes until the carrots become soft.

Add the dried fruits (if desired) and stir everything together so it is evenly distributed.

Allow the mixture to cool down and then serve.
