- 2 apples
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Cut the apples into ½ inch (1.3 cm) slices. Place the slices in an 8-inch (20 cm) casserole dish.
