Ingredients
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 cup finely chopped mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, bell peppers)
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp ginger powder
- Water
- Ghee or oil for cooking
Directions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour with a pinch of cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and ginger powder. Mix well.
- Slowly add water to the flour mixture and knead until you have a smooth dough. Let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix the chopped vegetables with the remaining cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and ginger powder.
- Divide the dough into small balls and roll each ball into a small circle.
- Place a spoonful of the vegetable mixture in the center of each circle and fold the edges to seal the stuffing inside.
- Roll out each stuffed ball into a flat paratha.
- Heat a pan over medium heat and cook the stuffed parathas with a little ghee or oil until golden brown on both sides.
