Pizza Margherita

Ingredients
- 400g pizza mix or all-purpose flour
- 2 x 7g sachets of dried yeast
- 2 tsp extra virgin olive oil
- 250ml lukewarm water
- 2 large tomatoes
- A handful of fresh basil
- 125g of mozzarella cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp oregano
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 220°C.
- In large mixing bowl, add the lukewarm water, 2 tsp extra virgin olive oil, and 2 sachets of dried yeast. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
- Gradually add in the pizza mix or all purpose flour while stirring the ingredients continuously. Keep adding and stirring until the dough starts to become solid and is a dough-like consistency.
- Leave the dough to the side and wash and slice the tomatoes and mozzarella cheese.
- Take a rolling pin and roll out the dough to create a round shape.
- Place the pizza dough on an oiled cooking tray and start to spread some garlic powder, oregano, and chopped fresh basil on top.
- Place the tomato slices and mozzarella cheese slices on top of the pizza dough.
- Place the cooking tray in the pre-heated oven and bake for 10 minutes or until the pizza is light golden brown.
- Let the pizza cool and cut the pizza into quarters so all of your hungry little friends can enjoy it.
