Ingredients:
- 250g penne pasta
- 200g tomato passata
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 fresh red chili
- 2 fresh basil leaves
Instructions:
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
- While the water is boiling, chop the garlic and chili as small as you can to avoid choking hazards.
- Add the penne pasta to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions.
- In a large skillet, add the olive oil and garlic and cook until the garlic is fragrant.
- Add the chili to the skillet, stir and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Add the tomato passata, stir and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add the cooked penne pasta to the skillet and stir for 2 minutes.
- Add the basil leaves and stir through for 1 minute.
- Serve the Penne Arrabiata and be careful not to burn your tongue!
