Onion Pakora

Ingredients
- 2 Medium Onions (sliced into rings)
- 2 cups Gram Flour
- 1 teaspoon Coriander Seeds
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 1 teaspoon Chaat Masala
- 1 cup Water
- 2 tablespoons of Vegetable Oil
Directions
- Heat the oil in a deep pan and keep aside.
- In a large bowl mix together the gram flour coriander seeds baking powder red chili powder and turmeric powder with 1 cup of water to make a thick batter.
- In the meanwhile slice the onions into rings and keep aside.
- Take each onion ring and coat it with the batter.
- Drop the onion ring into the hot oil and deep fry till they are golden brown. Joke here: A golden onion ring is like finding a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!
- Drain the excess oil by putting the fried onion rings onto a paper towel.
- Sprinkle chaat masala over the fried onion rings.
- Serve hot with the desired sides.
