Ingredients
- 2 cups of cooked lentils
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1/2 onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 carrot, finely diced
- 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon of ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon of paprika
- 2 tablespoons of fresh chopped cilantro
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt
Directions

Preheat a skillet over a medium heat with the olive oil.

Once heated, add the onion, garlic, and carrot and sauté for 5 minutes until softened.

Add the cooked lentils and spices and sauté for an additional 2 minutes until everything is combined and the spices are fragrant.

Remove from heat and let cool for a few minutes before adding the cilantro, flour,ingredients and baking powder.

Mix the yogurt into the mixture until everything is combined.

Once combined, form 4-6 patties with the mixture and place on a plate.

In the preheated skillet, cook each patty for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.

Serve hot with your favorite sides.
