Ingredients
- 8 oz (220 g) all-purpose flour
- 4 oz (110 g) unsalted butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons of water
- Freshly ground pepper
- Optional: Fresh parsley, chopped

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a medium bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, butter, and eggs. Mix together to form a dough, adding a tablespoon of water if needed.

Form the dough into 4 equal-sized balls and roll each one out on a lightly floured surface.

Using a pizza cutter or a sharp knife, cut the dough into strips around 3 in (7.5 cm) long and 1/8 in (3 mm) thick.

Place the knöpfle onto a greased and lined baking sheet and sprinkle with freshly ground black pepper.

Bake for 20 minutes in the preheated oven until golden brown. If desired, garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
