Ingredients
- 4 oysters (shucked, lightly rinsed & patted dry)
- 1/2 cup potato starch
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/3 cup plain all purpose flour
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- 1 Tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic, finely minced
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger, finely minced
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Directions

Preheat oil in a deep fryer or a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C).

Measure out potato starch into a shallow bowl.

Measure out water in a second shallow bowl.

Measure out flour in a third shallow bowl.

In an additional bowl, mix together sesame oil, minced garlic, minced ginger, and onion powder.

Submerge each of the oysters in the potato starch and lightly coat. Shake off any excess.

Dip the oysters into the water and then dredge them in the flour, making sure to coat them completely.

Carefully place the oysters into the preheated oil and fry for about 3 minutes, flipping them once halfway through.
