Ingredients
- 5 slices of day-old white bread
- 1 cup organic unsweetened almond milk (237 mL)
- 2 eggs
- 2 Tbsp melted vegetable or coconut oil
- ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
- ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C).

Cut the white bread into cubes that are small enough for the kids to handle but not a choking hazard.

In a medium-sized bowl, beat the eggs and add in the almond milk.

Slowly add in the diced bread cubes to the egg and milk mixture and mix it together until all the pieces of bread are coated.

Add in the melted oil, nutmeg, and cinnamon and mix again until everything is evenly mixed together.

Place the mixture into a greased baking dish and top with chopped parsley.

Bake for 30 minutes or until the top is lightly golden and the edges have pulled away from the sides.
