Ingredients
- 4 ears of corn, husks and silk removed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup finely chopped cilantro
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 350F (176°C).
- Place the corn on a baking sheet and brush it lightly with olive oil.
- Bake the corn for about 15 minutes or until the kernels are lightly browned and cooked through.
- When the corn is done baking, remove it from the oven and let it cool down.
- Once the corn is cool enough to handle, cut off the kernels with a sharp knife.
- Heat the butter in a medium-sized pan over medium heat.
- When the butter is melted, add the cumin powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala, chili powder, and black pepper.
- Stir together and cook the spices for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the corn kernels to the pan and sauté for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until the corn is lightly browned.
- Remove the pan from heat and add the chopped cilantro. Stir everything together until the cilantro is evenly distributed.
- Serve your Corn Bhutta hot with your favorite sides.
