Ingredients
- 400g Bavarian Bratwurst (or any type of sausage that you prefer)
- 2 medium onions
- 200g (about 2/3 cup) of your favorite Yellow Mustard
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of white wine
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground pepper
- 2 tablespoons of red wine vinegar
Directions

Preheat oven to 200°C (392°F).

Peel and slice the onions into thin slices.

Place the sliced onions in a baking dish. Then add the olive oil, white wine, nutmeg, and pepper and mix everything together.

Bake the onions for 40 minutes.

Place the Bavarian Bratwurst on a baking tray. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until the sausages are cooked through.

Remove the sausages from the oven and let them cool. Once cooled, cut them into thin slices.

In a large bowl, combine the slices of sausage, the baked onions, mustard, and red wine vinegar. Mix everything well.

Serve the Bavarian Wurstsalat warm or cold.
