Ingredients
- 3 large tomatoes, ripe
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tsp of olive oil
- 1/2 tsp of Italian seasoning
- French-style herbes (e.g. oregano, basil, thyme, rosemary)
- Salt & pepper to taste
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
- Wash and halve the tomatoes.
- Put the garlic cloves in a food processor and mince until very fine.
- In a small bowl, mix the garlic, olive oil, Italian seasoning, and Herbes de Provence.
- Rub the tomato halves with the olive oil mixture and place them in a oven-safe dish.
- Add salt & pepper to taste.
- Bake the tomato halves for 25 minutes.
- Take out of the oven and let cool before serving.
