Ingredients
- 200 g beef shaved thin (sliced against the grain)
- 200 g assorted mushrooms (button, shiitake, etc)
- 1 bundle enoki mushrooms, trimmed
- 100 g Chinese napa cabbage, cut into 2.5 cm pieces
- 2 bunches green onions, cut into 2 cm pieces
- 3 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
Directions
- Let’s start cooking! First, get the beef and slice it thin - against the grain - and divide it into four equal servings. Put it in a bowl and set aside.
- Next get all the yummy mushrooms! Slice the mushrooms thick and slice the enoki mushrooms in half. Put them all in a bowl and set aside.
- Now that’s the cabbage. Slice it into bit-sized pieces - about 2.5 cm. Put it in a bowl and set aside.
- For the onions, cut them into 2 cm pieces and place in its own bowl.
- In a medium-sized pot, heat the sesame oil and add the rice vinegar, ginger, and sesame seeds. Cook the ingredients for about 2 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Now it’s time to add the ingredients to the pot! Start with the beef and cook for about 1 minute. Then add the mushrooms, cabbage and onions and cook for 1 minute.
- Finally, turn off the heat and let the ingredients sit in the pot for a few minutes.
