Ingredients
- 2 aubergines
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper, or to taste
- 2 tablespoons of white sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 200 degrees celsius.
- Wash and dry the aubergines then cut them into 1/2 inch slices.
- Place the aubergine slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and spread the sesame oil over them until they are evenly coated.
- Sprinkle the cayenne pepper over the aubergines and bake for about 5 minutes until they are tender.
- In the meantime, toast the white sesame seeds in a pan over medium heat until they are golden brown.
- When the aubergines are cooked, remove them from the oven and transfer to a plate.
- Sprinkle the toasted sesame seeds over the aubergines and add the rice vinegar.
- Serve the Nasu Gomae warm and enjoy!
