Muli Paratha

Ingredients
- 2 cups of wheat flour
- 1/2 teaspoon of oil
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1 cup of shredded white radish
- Ground black pepper to taste
Directions
- In a large bowl, mix together the wheat flour and oil until they become a crumbly texture.
- Gradually add 1/2 cup of water to the mixture and knead into a soft dough.
- Cover the dough and set aside for 10 minutes for it to rest.
- In the meantime, shred 1 cup of white radish.
- Uncover the dough and roll it out into a circle.
- Sprinkle the shredded white radish onto the circle of dough, evenly.
- Sprinkle ground black pepper over the white radish for flavour.
- Now, the tricky part. Fold the dough onto itself creating a semicircle shape.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Place the paratha on the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes before flipping.
- Cook the other side for an additional 4-5 minutes.
- Make sure not to burn it!
- Cut your paratha into desired sizes.
Recommended Sides
Muli Paratha can be served with a yogurt-based dip like raita or with chutney. It can also be enjoyed with the classic combination of pickle and papad!
